In an attempt to lighten the mood slightly (Terrorism, Politics, RIP) I thought I'd ask where we are off to this summer. Me? Tenerife with my mates on Tuesday <cheers><cheers><cheers><cheers>:emoticon-0157-sun::emoticon-0157-sun::emoticon-0157-sun::emoticon-0157-sun:<party><party>and possibly somewhere else later in the year.

The mrs and myself and possibly a couple of friends are looking to go to Edinburgh in a few months though..... Never been and always fancied it.

Went Tenerife last month place called el medano was quality!!
 
Cyprus for me in early August for a fortnight. If I can get my act together I'm should be planning a long weekend in Prague in the autumn too, but that'll be a piss up once I get back in the sauce.
 
Had the whole of January on a cruise Carribean/Pacific American coast but will be in Devon/Cornwall last week of August.

Did Tenerife in 2003 staying at the spectacular Los Gigantes resort, went to the top of Mt Teide to see a lunar eclipse while we were there. You're fairly guaranteed decent weather there whatever time of year...
 
Off to Majorca for 10 nights with wife & daughter & her family end of July & then taking wife to Tenerife in October but she doesn't know yet but all booked.

Bournemouth next month for a weekend as my youngest grandaughters cheer dance group in a comp. I will be taking my hearing aids out. And I need to find a pub open at 08:30 for the last test v NZ. Any ideas?
 
Going to New York in August and really looking forward to it. Been there a few times on business, but only once before on holiday and that was 40 years ago. Going to see the Yankees play the Red Sox, which will be my first baseball game. Ease his pain.
