Which then brought about the debate as to whether it was okay for a black person to call someone of the same skin colour by the "N" word, apparently it was, Rio took it a step further and brought "choc-ice" into play.
Evra reckoned he was using words from a movie when he used the "N" word in the YouTube video so it didn't upset him at the time..:emoticon-0100-smile

Mason Holgate could find himself in hot water for alleged homophobic tweets that emerged following the Merseyside derby last week.

Holgate finds himself embroiled in a racial abuse claim and at risk of being banned for both homophobic tweets and his push on Roberto Firmino in the derby.

The Brazilian was pushed over advertising hoardings by the Everton man and could have been seriously injured but wasn’t sent off by referee Bobby Madley.

According to Matt Hughes of the Times, “Holgate is facing the threat of a misconduct charge and a suspension after the FA opened an investigation into allegedly homophobic tweets.”

6 days down the line and still not a word, Everton kick of their next game in 48 hours and us 24 hours later, whichever way the FA panel decision goes it's piss poor that they're taking as long as this, they have their interpreters, legal team and witnesses, what the **** do they do all day in their headquarters?, play Texas Hold'em.<grr>

They probably leave these things a good while before coming out with a ruling so it looks to the outside world like they gave it some consideration. :bandit:

There's probably some truth in that, but it's beyond a joke that they haven't prioritised this case and put to one side the more trivial matters, they've got a supposed special dept for dealing with cases like this, but they're apparently on more important business.

Maybe they're still looking for Neil Warnock.

Are everton at home or away.

We've already seen holgate abused on social media before he even got back to the dressing room at full time.
I've not heard if firmino got the same but nothing came out.

if everton are away the lad could get dogs abuse which is wrong

We are at home so only a few city fans might try it on but our lot need to be on the best of voice to drown them out.

Don’t see how Spurs fans will give an alleged victim of (possible misunderstood) racial abuse grief.

Can't see how Spurs fans won't give an alleged perpetrator of (probably well understood) false racism accusations grief.

I think FA are dragging their feet because of lack of evidence especially against Firmino. They do not want to punish
    Mason Holgate alone.

Spot on. They've got nothing but they WANT something. Bobby's not out of the woods yet.

Holgate and Firmino playing this weekend, I have not seen any problem taking the FA that long before they resolve
    it. Something is amiss.:emoticon-0175-drunk.

What do they have in Holgate.

Are you saying he should be banned for hearing a racist remark. Or are you all pussies who want him banned for a push.

When you make racist comments then expect to be punished.
