Not sure about this, for reasons as others have set out. I guess Lascelles and Schar are injured, and Lejeune and Clark have had injuries.

    Not the priority area mind.

I dont think there will be any striker brought on or even an attacking player to Compete/ cover for max and miggy...

    That's my bet anyway

Striker and a winger to compliment ASM on the other side should be the priorities.

    GK Dub, Darlow, Gillespie

    RB Kraft, Yedlin

CB Lejuene, Schar, Fernandez, Lascelles, Clark

    LB Dummett, Manquillo

CM Hayden, Shelvey, Hendrick, M. Longstaff

    RW Joelinton, A.Nother*

    AM S. Longstaff, Almiron

    LW ASM, Ritchie

    CF Carroll, Gayle*, Muto*

25 Man squad as it stands - 3* needed (none are CB's) unless we plan on keeping Gayle who is now injured 6 months and out of contract at the end of the year I believe?

Surplus: Atsu, Aarons, Murphy, Saviet, Lazaar PLUS anyone leaving...

Priority has to be a CF to score 15 goals, then a winger needs to be next on the list to compliment ASM if neither Murphy or Aarons impress enough to be given a chance and finally a LB. Get that sorted I'd be happy with what we have for a season.

Why we are after a CB along with this Greek LB I don't know unless he is planning going back to 5 at the back, selling off the current crop of CB's or Chambers is coming in as a utility player for the year to play multiple positions but who'd he replace?

LB and the defence on the whole is the lowest of priorities with Clark, Manquillo and Ritchie all cover for LB and we have 5 good CB's (probably our strongest area of the team) so why they are our two main links is baffling.

Strikers are expensive... People got a hard on over 40 million Joelinton without looking into the fact he isn't a goalscorer...

    @Ben 10

Tbh nufc and there manager etc are obsessed with the we need a target man upfront...

Jesus the game moved on decades ago.. You need fast intelligent players in all areas that can at least keep the ball

Manq is **** at lb. Ritchie worse. We need a lb.

Striker situation is ****ing laughable. What you have to bear in mind is Joelinton will be starting up there whether we like it or not. Looking very likely Murphy will get a chance now. At a very optimistic stretch we will loan a lb and a striker. That would be it.

They are but you can still get good strikers cheap. Norwich got Pukki for free, Ings wasn't that much for Southampton and he's quality. Our scouts must just go to France or Germany and sit in their hotel rooms watching Pornhub

Sounds like this is happening sadly

Can see Lejeune leaving. Bruce doesn't like defenders who can play football

He is also keen on Norwich City left-back Jamal Lewis, Bournemouth striker Callum Wilson and free agent Ryan Fraser but will struggle to meet the financial requirements.

<laugh> absolute joke of a club

All 3 of them would be good signings though

Whilst we have plenty of CBs they are not exactly gifted with the best defensive qualities.
As a defensive unit, we dont close the opposition down enough in the last third, hence our GK was top of saves made last season. That tells me that the current CBs aren't good enough at their primary job.

I thought Holding would have come on by now, but obviously not as much as Arsenal hoped for.
If he's better than what we've got, fair enough, but, I think we'll be trying to offload one of them, otherwise the squad will be even more lopsided.
