He's certainly turned it round. Got better second half of last season and then tailed off a bit this but got better. And now great under Marco. Credit to Marco.
I wonder if there was something in his personal life. As he was great first season Pl and awful second and got us relegated. I really do blame him for it cos you can see now how he makes us tick. Good as Silva is he cant make a player as good as Tom.
He's holding the ball a lot more, step overs, dropping a shoulder and driving forward with the ball. In the past he seemed to not want the responsibility and would knock it first time.
Long may it continue.

You've seen what many of us always saw. Yes his form dipped but he was wasted in such a dour system where everyone was stood like a lemon. If the ball wasn't sent out wide to Elmo/Dave or Robertson it was given to tom with no one giving him **** all to do with it.

His form immediately picked up the moment Phelan stopped ****ting himself about opponents after the boro defeat and has continued into and improved again under Marco with a similar playing philosophy.

It's no coincidence. Stick Messi up front as a lone striker and do nowt but ping balls from defence to his head and see how he gets on.

just shows hlw much phelan and bruce were over awed by the prem reputations

silvas come in, not give a ****e about reputations, believed in hiself , his players and his preferred system lf play and told the players to crack on with it

breath of fresh air

****ing loving it, my leeds mates are in despaie

To be honest it's not just Tom, although he is playing the best that I've seen him play since he signed for us, it's every player, they're all playing at the top of their game, and that has to be down to Marco and his staff, along with them putting square pegs in square holes.

that they are, just thought hudds is a prime example, dare i say if he keeps playing like this ge may well command £10m haha oh **** it got to have a sense of humour eh guys, up the tigers

I agree with Hat, he's always had this ability, the system we played and the attitude under the previous two managers has been a restraint to his style of play.

He's no good when the play is slow and ponderous like our build up used to be, but at a higher tempo, he really comes into his own as his awareness allows him to pass without even looking.

I was saying to my brother yesterday at the game that there's now about 8/10 outfield players who now play at the same high tempo and it won't be long until the others catch on. It will be interesting to see how we get on against Arsenal.

We'll beat Arsenal, we owe them more than one.
