http://www.sportsmole.co.uk/football/qpr/transfer-talk/news/qpr-reject-derby-loan-offers_201689.html We have turned down loan deals...only want full deals...balancing the books I think. I have always thought Junior could do it....but even his fabulous pass to Zamora in the PO Final, wasn't it was straight at Keogh....and true, that time he a OBZ got really lucky...but crossing isn't his forte, which is a bit of a shame for a winger
I'd be happy for Hoilett to go, if he's replaced. He has had long enough, he can't cross, doesn't score much, he works hard enough, he does have pace that scares defenders, but so little comes of it. He's very like SWP, not really good enough for a PL team. However good he looked at Blackburn, they went down too. I'm not so sure about Phillips because he is a good crosser of the ball, which we really need. Surely someone can build his confidence up so he can do what he has done before? But then probably not with us.
Sorry swords I've only just seen this ..... Thanks a lot , really , not sure who u thought I was but much appreciated and actually i know I can be a bit of a wum and have the worst spelling and grammar in the world But I was sure u was venting Ure comments at someone else .... It wasn't me but cheers
I call it pissed at home getting emotional about bolloks grammar or driving looking outtah one eye grammar What was actually puzzling me was only my close uncle and old man (both Rangers and I know they love not606) call me 'Jamsey' so I was thinking ...... Bahhhh is this one of them wallys pulling my leg......
I have to agree. One of these days you imagine Hoilett breaking out and doing something amazing. But that 'one of these days' doesn't seem to come. If he could get the crosses down, he'd be hard to beat. He attacks defenders and -- despite what some have said in this thread - is very quick and messes defenders up. The problem is that once he moves past the defender he gives the ball away or loses it to the next defender. It's so frustrating.
The positive about Hoilett is that he does run at the defence - remember the penalty in the Wigan game was a result of him breaking into the box. I wonder if we have been using jim in the wrong position all the time... perhaps he's more suited to the attacking midfielder central role?
Bundesliga side Borussia Monchengladbach have made an enquiry for QPR winger Junior Hoilett, Sky sources understand. Hoilett has made 71 appearances for Rangers and has previously played in Germany with St Pauli and SC Paderborn.
Tony just tweeted: "Matt Philips is not going anywhere. He's an important player. The board is now very clear on what needs to be done."
No mention of Hoilett though!!!!!! As has been mentioned earlier Hoilett was playing a more central role in pre season, ok I know it was against a couple of not very good Irish sides but he did look good in that role......maybe that's where he should be playing just behind the striker(s)......
I've been saying for a long time that Hoilett should be in a central role, Tramo. How can someone who can't cross be a winger?
