We didn't really win many away (or home) games whilst in the PL so you might be alright sticking with your prediction!

The lad hasnt had a proper run out

Scored a cracker in our 3 nil win at the blades and the only goal away at donny in our promotion year

He can easily cut it at this level

Flyer - youre just being provocative for the sake of it

There are more appropriate people to shift out ahead of Hogan in my opinion. In the scheme of things he is probably inexpensive and would certainly fill a role as a squad player.

Speechless at what I'm reading in here. The lads a good player. Crucial to the start of our promotion season.

Always rated him as a player. Would have done far better than some of the charlatans we had in our two Prem campaigns. Pity he never bulked up a bit though.

Best of luck to the chap.

I always liked Hogan. Shame we didn't use him more than we did. If he goes, I'll say good luck and wish him well.

Decent enough player - League 1 might be is best level but he did do well on occasion in the Ch.

And if we don't get any cover in for the wide positions it might have been worth keeping him 'til January.

Maybe a move will ignite his career. Never let the R's down even though a bit of a lightweight. Good luck if he moves on however wouldn't be disappointed if he stayed

League One is his level, he'll do a decent job for Wolves. To those who say he shouldn't be going he's had over five years to make his mark under a plethora of managers and if we're serious about going up he just isn't good enough...

I'll sit with you both. Hogan has rarely let us down badly when called upon. He maybe a bit lightweight at times but he always puts a shift in. He always shows commitment to the shirt and he doesnt deserve to be slagged off IMHO.
I'd rather he'd been played last year rather than the ****e that did. Give him a break. He was an important part of our unbeaten run during the promotion season.

Perhaps take Kevin Doyle in return for Hogan? I see he is left out of the Irish World Cup squad, although Richard Dunne is back having recovered fitness - hopefully those extra games don't knacker him for us.

"Richard Dunne returns for Republic's World Cup qualifiers

Republic of Ireland defender Richard Dunne has returned to the squad for the World Cup qualifiers against Sweden and Austria next month.

The QPR centre-back, 33, has regained full fitness after missing all of last season because of a groin injury.

Norwich midfielder Anthony Pilkington has been handed another chance to make his debut after pulling out of several previous squads because of injury.

However, there continues to be no place for Wolves striker Kevin Doyle."
