whn you think of players with small frames, DJC, Nasri, Silva, Defeo, Strachan & Scholes for example only needed a chance. Hogan needs game time. The loan will do him good and hopefully come Jan he will get back in the 25 man squad. One Size is over 6ft tall with a build that would suggest he can win headers but he disappoints for me. Give Hogan a chance in he premier league and I reckon he would shine
I think Hogan has the potential to be better than Smith tbh. Smith is a squad player at best in the Premier League imo.
Ephraim started last season like a house on fire, but soon got found out and became anonymous and got replaced by Smith. Smith was much more reliable, made goods runs into space and I would argue that he does more than his share of tracking back. Smith has a football brain which helps him make the right runs into the right areas, whereas Ephraim is more of a headless chicken. Neither would be starters in the Premier League, but Iâm much happier with Smith coming on that Ephraim. I hope Hogan does really well at Charlton, he should be outstanding for them. I gave a mate who is a season ticket holder so Iâll get the low down in a few weeks from him.
