Jesus guys, listen to yourselves. "He didn't pick LeTiss, so we hate him, nah nah naaaah." Hoddle was a pretty effective manager for England, and for Saints. I also find his punditry quite refreshing. Where is this comment about Lambert/Carrol anyway?
Well, I was just about to post something similar. Whenever anyone compares one of "ours" with someone else's and decides that, on balance, someone else's is better, out come the name calling and expletives. Jeeez! Did Hoddle say that Lambert was the AntiChrist or something? Carroll isn't a bad player, he's just not as good as Rickie. Have to agree about the horse bit, though.
Decent points from Chris Waddle on 5live about how we focus on what players cannot do and not on what they can do enough. Le Tissier was always the victim of this. That's what i liked about Pochettino's style and that was it's about what Southampton do and not what the opposition do. That's why we were so consistent last season
Maybe Rickie did something naughty in a previous life, that only Glenn (and possibly David Icke) knows about.
Hoddle claims that disabled people did something bad in a past life, that's why they're disabled. So there you go... edit: just read pompeymeowth's comment, sorry about that.
