HNM, Scott Weimann &Wells..only Conway not in picture..Thanks Rod.
So it was just Weimann and Wells last season to choose from Clifton's list.
Semenyo not played
Unlikely he would play Clifton’s list all at once..
NP chose to sit..

In fairness not many remember that season as every game was behind closed doors. And Weimann was injured. Thanks Rod.

Mmm not buying it RP.. Williams imo is struggling to find his true form but getting there, Conway is only the significant difference.. not enough in my book.. had plenty of games he could have used the pressing game but he chose not to..The introduction of Conway for Martin has been massive. Having Williams available this season is another plus giving stability in midfield which allows City to play a high press game.
And the kids are a year older giving Pearson more options especially with Semenyo to add very soon.
Good news .
Yes and apart from Conway these players have been around for quite a while, which is why it's so frustrating not adopting the high press before, (Weimann & Semenyo always been up for it) rather than snatching a goal and sitting on it...........It's taken NP a long time to work this out...worryingly

I agree we are better equipped but could have been used on some games last season, but NP choose not to..Its something I was referring to previously but as a future direction. Players appearing and Scott improving provide depth and flexibilty that was not there before.
The players in say a front three would be rotated.
Often bringing young lads in before they are ready is worse than Leaving until they are, as we don’t see what goes on behind the scenes we have to trust NP on that one. He’s a proven track record and is an experienced manager, it’s why I’d prefer him to others we’ve had in the past.I agree we are better equipped but could have been used on some games last season, but NP choose not to..

He's in his 3rd season here and not proven anything as yet.....A team that up until the last couple of seasons had no worries regarding relegation..Often bringing young lads in before they are ready is worse than Leaving until they are, as we don’t see what goes on behind the scenes we have to trust NP on that one. relatively easy call as a manager to recognise raw talent, but then to juggle individual personalites and tempraments, a whole different ball game, but when you get it right as i think pearson generally has the results are there for all to see, and a big yes tor tinnion and his team,Often bringing young lads in before they are ready is worse than Leaving until they are, as we don’t see what goes on behind the scenes we have to trust NP on that one. Hopefully we've turned the corner with a decent balance of players, any more long term slip ups the pressure will be back on..
The jury is still out IMO... but we do look better and fingers crossed the confidence will grow throughout..
So long as we don't go back, trying to sit on narrow leads early in games. With various positive adjustments in place if all not going to plan and hope his selection, tactics and decision making continues to improve..
I agree with some of that RR..we had bad apples right through the club-Nige clearly made a point about that and is driving it out.
We were shocking the last two/three seasons.
Nige was never going to turn it around in one season-the man said three years- we are seeing it in a composed and professional he is sorting it.
No money-unlike LJ. I wonder what Nige would and could have done with those millions.
For me this type of manager should have been employed long ago-When Steve Coppelll came in we thought this is it we are on our way.He was here five minutes and ran as fast as he could When he saw the issues here.
I honestly thought Nige would do the same when he came out and said what a mess the club was in.
He has stuck around and shoots are showing it is very encouraging indeed.
I appreciate fans wanted instant success on the basis who he was-however that was never going to happen he needed to sort the football club out in a organised way.
Leicester fans keep saying he will sort your club out stick with him.
Now Leicester fans want him back up there-He is truly loved there. The lure of Leicester City could pull him away from Bristol City that would be a massive loss I hope he sticks around and creates another legacy here at Bristol City.
