Med Dog knows it is a new club. He avoids answering questions that he finds difficult to answer. As usual he is "at it"
I reckon we might pick up one or two more. The future is very bright for us Plus, I don't think the total will be 54. I think it will be a few less.
Whatever. Med Dog why are you not answering the question? Is it correct to say that technically it is a new club?
Of course we're still Rangers. Assume for a moment we are playing in the SPL next season. Do you really think the opposing teams and fans won't see us as Rangers? The history is another matter. It's up to the relevant authorities to state categorically if our history breaks between Rangers 1 and Rangers 2. If so, so what? Rangers 1 + Rangers 2 will continue to dominate Scottish fitba. (After a holiday in the fitba wilderness for hopefully not too many years ). We're still here. Be afraid.
1: Of course they will, but we're being pedantic for bragging rights. 2: I agree and to be honest I don't really care, some people will believe the history remains, others will argue it does not. It's an unwinnable argument 3: Hopefully about 5 years in the wilderness 4: Smell my Timmy fear
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ship_of_Theseus The Ship of Theseus, also known as Theseus' paradox, or various variants, notably grandfather's axe and (in the UK) Trigger's Broom (based upon the BBC sitcom Only Fools and Horses) is a paradox that raises the question of whether an object which has had all its component parts replaced remains fundamentally the same object.
would it be a winnable argument if..... Say for example the perameters for the argument had already been set months ago and that people had already agreed that this new club would be a new club?
