I can never watch the games so I never saw the incidents of either team. Just going by what i've been told and was told by a Rovers fan he thought Minchella was lucky to only get a yellow. I can't understand why FC let their standard drop when they're looking for the play offs. I got told Ashworth's was real bad and to expect the worse punishment for him, bet his new Club will be happy with him, he'll be missing at least the first four games of the season for 'em.
Ashworth’s was definitely bad in the sense it was a cheap shot and completely unnecessary, he didn’t hit him that hard but that’s not the point, we don’t want to see that and thankfully it will be the last time he pulls on a black and white jersey. Honestly I think given the injury list, the play-offs were always a long shot, but they definitely lost their heads in the final 20 minutes and with the suspensions that have followed they might have sealed their fate. Congrats on the league leaders by the way, great to see another name on the trophy, fully deserved after a very consistent season.
Thank ya, it certainly feels good, all we need now is your lot to get their fingers out and join us. We need competitive derbies again and i'm not taking the piss when I say that. That's a big plus he won't be pulling on one of your shirts again, you don't need players like that.
Their points difference is disappearing rapidly as well, it leaves Wigan with a chance next weekend. Lucky for Rovers they play Warrington who are absolutely terrible!
Making sure F C don't get in the top six then take the Leaders Shield on Thursday against Warrington at home
Second half to go but I can't see them pulling that back. 2000 travelling fans there as well, Rovers need to fight better for the fans, they deserve it.
It is daft they don't all play the last game at the same time. Mind you nothing about rugby fixtures makes sense to me
Phew, a little too close for comfort, well done lads, that's the double. Sadly because of the last few games I don't think we'll do the treble. Well done for the double lads, great season.
