Can't see that happening anytime soon, those foods trucks bring thousands in over the season. They've been open all the week before the final as they ramped the festival feeling up.

When I saw the videos I thought about how it was for City when we had a parade, it was just as packed if not more so but they didn't all keep with us. It''s as you say, it happens in all sports while the teams successful.

Do they still do £1 a pint before the game?!

3 or 4 years ago I went and they were.

I didn’t stop for the actual game mind you! <laugh>

*I’d only gone to watch something pre match

I don't know Den, I haven't been to Rovers as long as I haven't been able to go to City.

Go watch Hull mate, that won’t do your ticker any harm.

The opposite in fact, it’ll probably send you to sleep.

Well I am pleased that Rervers did the business. I always like to see both rugby teams do well for the City although when it is the derby I am firmly black and white.

Good song choice , well used They really have grasped the ‘community’ feel of a club . Still suspicious of Sewell etc , he does nothing unless there’s money in it - but they are hand in hand with the council like FC.

Bit of RL history this week as the legend Billy Boston becomes RL’s first Knight.
A breakthrough when other sports already have many. He is far more deserving than two of the other recipients of high honours Sadiq Kant and Emily Largebelly,

It's about time the Legend and Rugby League got the top accolade for a change.
I honestly thought he'd passed away but looking him up, he's ninety years old but sadly got dementia.
Congratulations Billy, well deserved for what you've done for the sport and the young'uns coming into the game.

I thought of Clive as well but i'm pretty sure it's too late for that Legend.

    Under 14?

Some of those bairns were ****ing massive.

Not like the scrawny, malnourished runts I played rugby against as a kid.

Apart from when we had the misfortune to draw Hymers in the Cup.

We got absolutely torn limb from limb.

Showed the benefit of a decent diet from birth verses a diet of chips, Vesta curry and Chef's square shaped soups, I guess.
