To be fair not many leaving from the stand opposite the cameras compared to East Stand. Though they are, as you said, leaving behind the goal, and in that extra bit they have built on. Difference is they wouldn’t be leaving if they were winning or drawing,
Wigan got into Rovers and made a more then usual physical game. They'd done their homework on us and knew how to rattle us, all good on them to be fair. First loss of the season and like Airlie Tiger says, it won't do 'em any harm.
Youre right, a bit of complacency tonight for me. It will do them the world of good. How the video ref gives Miskin the last try is beyond me.
I thought it was a try to be fair but there wasn't enough evidence to overturn the refs on field decision of no try so it shouldn’t have counted.
it's the whole of the away stand with free travel - Warrington reported at least 1500 earlier - maybe nearer 2k rather than 3k
Always had a soft spot for FC. I grew up just round the corner from the old Airlie St ground, you could hear the crowd from my house. My dad and uncle used to take me to matches now and again, they'd go in 3'penny stand, I'd muck about on the hill. My uncle actually dropped dead at a game, heart attack. Don't know if the game was halted because of a 'medical incident' or, given it was in the 60's, the game just went on regardless while my uncle was carted away on a stretcher. Also, they've now get an ex-Tiger in their ranks, Lewis Martin, so even more reason to follow their progress.
Actually I take it back about them being alright at all. They've never been friends of HCAFC and never will be. Hull FC as a club and their fans.
What about those who support both City and FC as I do? There are hundreds of people who support both.
