You have one and possibly two wrong there as well. Silvestri is average, and not as you claimed before going to be the best we have ever had. Or didn't you say that either? Antenucci is still to prove he is better than mediocre. Cook is potentially good, but more often than not the young kids don't come on as expected.
Why aren't we talking about what we did right on sat ? if I was new to this site I would think some on here hate Leeds so much it would pain them to say a possitive word.
I didn't go, yet to hear a report from anyone here who did. If you did, feel free. But to be fair we have a thousand false dawns for every real one. No wins in seven, no goals from open play, not a single clean sheet away from home all season, we sell our most consistent player, Cellino likely to be kicked out on Thursday and you want us to be happy go ****ing lucky.
You're going to love this post, Glory I personally think that Silvestri has the potential to go on to be our greatest ever keeper. He has immense talent, and the good thing about him being so young is that his failings can be coached out of him. Not sure if Sully is the man to coach him, right enough, but time will tell. Now that my head is fully exposed above the parapet, I shall recklessly continue. Antenucci is quite excellent in my view, certainly better than mediocre. He's a clever player, but tbh, perhaps a bit too clever & experienced for our midfield, particularly the youngsters. His off the ball movement is exemplary, but the opportunities he creates in doing this are often lost by inexperience +/or lack of vision from whoever is about to deliver the ball. It is through watching him close up that I've finally come to appreciate what Teddy Sherringham managed to do. I think this guy will get better as the rest of the team improves. So, in for a penny, in for a pound. A few words about your little chum Adryan. There is no doubt in my mind that this guy has one hell of a future. Sadly, I don't think it's going to be with us. Joining us may give him game time, but it's doing bugger all for his development, and I think it's beginning to dawn on him. There might be a wee bit of tetchiness going on behind the scenes too, but that's just me speculating. He clearly has skills, and most definitely has moments of magic, but you have to ask yourself if the Championship is the place for him to be, or if Redders is the coach that can bring the best out of him. I think the answer is no to each of these questions. The most important part is that I don't think Redders knows how to play him, leading to frustration on all sides. So I guess both sides of the argument are probably correct - he is an excellent player, but we'll never get to see him blossom. The tin hat is now firmly on!
