That Jose Enrique, Tiote and co. will leave in the summer. Think about it, the same happened to James Milner before things became quite and no one wanted our players while in the championship then in January with Andy Carroll... it's all about the money. Once a decent bid comes in then they will be gone.

Sorry to be pessimistic but Mike Ashley has done it twice already and we know his aim is to develop players then sell them on to make a profit.

I'm clinging to the hope that he has changed, and he has realised that the higher up the table we are, with better players, we are not only going to get him more money but are also a much more saleable asset.

Do you want a bag with that ?

History is written by the victor.

Now; I'm not advocating the bed sheet brigade take to the streets but he will be aware of the public outcry if he does sell, sell, sell and lets not forget that season ticket renewals have just been issued for next season.

Leave it late to renew with a public statement that supporters will renew if given assurances that key players will be retained?

I would hope he would see we need to keep these players.

With a few quality additions I reckon our squad would be good enough to challenge for Europa spots next season and europe is where these players want to play, so give them the opportunity to do it with us.

I'd hope so too, and I'd be more than happy if we get through the summer without selling any one but Mike Ashley may have other ideas.
