All jokes aside but consider the work of the bulge pump on the shiitter, it must of been working overtime....... just saying.
Great photo there, Sooperhoop. Makes me think of when fish & chips were wrapped in old newspapers when all that print tasted so good. When the fish was strung up on drying racks after being first coated with battered. The chips sat in the back of the trough after being cooked once, ready to go again when someone ordered them. Not like today when everything is frozen fresh and only cooked once. Ahhhh, those were the days.......
This reminds me of Sunday afternoon drives with my mum & dad in their Ford Anglia, right down to the folding chairs they had in the boot. I guess that must be mid to late 60s, the Morris Oxford was quite a popular motor at that time...
Having spent many years researching Bomber Command and their aircraft, l had not seen any Avro Lancasters ( captured ) in German markings, until now..... This image does not seem as though it has been doctored in any way but l stand corrected if anyone can suggest otherwise.
A lovely Mk1 Spitfire over the English countryside. Don’t be shy to turn your head sideways.... now.
