Appearances 305 goals 137 assists 62 total career 25 years old.

Good link up player, good passer, very good finisher and likes to put in a tackle. Gets caught offside a fair bit.

Worth about 30m, 35 was a stretch, whoever said he's worth 20m doesn't have any clue about him, would have done very well in the PL I reckon, he's the sort of player that would and you can always fix the offside silliness.
Pity he hasn't come to the PL, all the big players seem to be going anywhere but England, France Italy Germany Spain but England.. nope.<grr>

£35 mil is over priced - But now the world knows it's a done deal, I expect Madrid to add £15 mil and Suarez will be on the plane to Spain <ok>

Madrid aren't interested in Suarez.... No idea why all Liverpool fans think thats going to happen. They have made no offers and no public noise about wanting him. On the other hand - for Bale they have publicaly chased him and now according to the news made a huge offer. They don't want Suarez, they want Bale. And have already spent a LOT this transfer window. They simply can't afford another 2 huge money signings.

Arsenal are the only team in for Suarez - time to get used to it 'Pool fans :p

Exactly, and Suarez kind of burned his bridges on the Madrid move after Madrid said they weren't interested. I can't remember the exact quote, but he basically said he wasn't interested in Madrid either. I don't think either party is going to make that move happen.

I think Arsenal learned a lot from the RVP and Fabregas situations. Liverpool should not have been so belligerent and outspoken over Suarez.

At this point, they may well be in a worse situation if they don't sell him, and (at least right now) Arsenal are the only ones that want him. Spurs and Bale are in the same boat.

When Song looked unhappy at the end of last summer, Wenger cut him loose without any hesitation. It is the best way, make it look like the club didn't want you anyway. If it turns into a fight, then the other players start to think about why players are leaving, and it creates a bad atmosphere.
