Sounds a bit lile your MO given the inflatable sheep. Apparently it's a customs & excise law although some do but you can get jail and a large fine.
Growing up in the 70's whenever you went out on the street you would see huge billboards with cigarette advertising. All the glamour sports were sponsored by cigarette companies, most of the films had product placements. Much different to the 80's and onwards.
you could go into a shop and buy a single tab, now you can't even buy 10. the govt want you to stop, but force you to buy 20, strange thinking.
I think that was due to cost mate and preventing under age kids from smoking. ie they could afford a pack of 10 but not a pack of 20. Also to take away the 'coolness' of having a pack of 10 as a minor.
I have a vape next to me, it is filled with rasperberry white chocolate. I keep trying it, yeah it tastes ok, smells nice, but i keep going to the kitchen for a tab.
I am a very occasional 'casual' smoker. I enjoy a tab once in a while with a pint, if I'm out with others who smoke. I'd buy ten, I won't buy twenty. In that respect, it has worked. Not sure the idea was aimed at my type though!
Yeah works for people like you but for some it will certainly be worse. I generally smoke rolll ups but when I was smoking ***s I'd always smoke a 20 deck quicker than a 10 relatively speaking. I saw the other day that the UK government want to eradicate smoking completely by 2030. Can't see that.
I have rollies at home, and proper ones for work, cos i'm to lazy to make enuff to take. some breaks the smoke shelter is just a plume, cos about 80% are on vapes.
I much prefer a rollie for my crafty ***! They used to do a small pouch, the filters, pack of papers, all in a ten size box. Even those are now banned.
I fancy getting a pipe when I'm an old man, proper good one. I envisage myself in a wingback puffing on my pipe with a good rum to sip on. Good times. Mrs luv isn't happy.
