My worry is what they will use the documents for. If they propose to use them as part of a review of the whole Hillsborough issue then probably fine. What I would not like to see them used for is as some mere 'titillation' in a review of Thatcher.
I see your point dave and share your worries but considering the timeline and politics of the day,and taking into account the tory/militant labour battle thatcher might(as suspected)have used hillsborough politically,if so she should be brought to book before she pops her clogs. And i agree with mupp that the beeb have a proven track record in investigative journalism,and staff that specialise in this kind of case.
The beeb aren't exactly whiter than white though are they. They still pay that utter **** of a lowlife, Kelvin Mackenzie to appear on their shows form time to time.
