If some person of, say, Middle Eastern, appearance were to do the same thing to, say, a nun would you use the same argument for it not being religious. The Habit can't be religious because they don't all wear one.? I'm no sort of expert on the subject but I am aware that there are many different sects of Islam. It's not just Sunni and Shia. I suspect that they might have different 'dress codes' if I can use that term.
Don`t see how that argument stands up mate. Nuns are part of the clergy, not the congregation. Even then nuns don`t hide their faces.
Does wearing any kind of religious wear stop you from having devilish thoughts? I reckon those Muslim women and nuns are right proper ravers on the sly.
I don't think many people are completely comfortable with it mate, it's extreme, the fact that 999/1000 of them are black from head to toe only fuels that uneasiness that people associate with the Niqab/Burka. If they were designed to be a little more friendly on the eye, maybe there'd be less animosity. Essentially, they're just an early form of a onesie.
Apparently part of orthodox Judaism states you should not judge other people on anything, I find it hard to believe that if I walked past a group of hasidic Jewish folk, wearing a mankini, and spewing my ring up after 14 pints in the street, that none of them would at least think "What a dickhead".
I've seen groups of young arab girls in places in town, there used to be loads in Sankey's when I was a regular attendee there. You'd see them getting the hijabs back on at the taxi rank before heading home, absolutely ****ing leathered. They'd all be banging shots and on the chop all night long, they only keep that **** up for their miserable old mothers and fathers.
I honestly couldn't hump a woman dressed up in all that religious ****e. I can't even stand stockings, suspenders or basques. Just not for me cheers pet but I'll stick with the melon.
Seen in Phuket a few years ago: Arab bint just out of the shower strolling around her bedroom with the windows open visited by one of her girlfriends in the garb which she then took off and they had a gay time together for about twenty minutes. Same women walking dutifully behind their husbands in top to toe get up ahead of me and wife. Clothes on says one thing, but no clothes reveals all. It was a good holiday.
Wife was all ready to come in off balcony but our vantage point was too good, the camera hand was too shaky from laughing to get a pic as these ladies were no young beauties. Seeing them sat outside with their husbands who were having a beer Too blurred from laughing mate. They were neither young nor nubile and I bet I had them wondering what a wink meant when we sat close to them later.
