Near my 17th birthday my dad started leaving brochures for ferrari and porsche around the house. I even started to believe he wasn't joking.

The D-reg Ford Escort was still the best present I've ever had.

Sorry, Ranger in peace, but that's bloody brilliant! Tell your Dad that I'm nicking that as an idea in a few years time :)

Enjoy your new found freedom :)

I think what the OP is saying is that even though we didnt get a 'big signing' we shouldn't be down on what we did get.
I know I am happy with the business done by McNally and Co.
    looking forward to seeing them.

Don't forget people were not excited about Wilbraham but he became very useful!

Whereas QPR are currently sitting in a D-REG Escort with a not so convincing Ferrari body kit.

I think that from now on we should refer to QPR as The Duttons

Well if we stay up we will have a buck load + an extra £10m but then everyone else who stays up will also have a load.

60 million if we stay up. I think it's why everyone has been quite wound up recently, we could seriously bolster our squad with that type of cash.

Ok, it was very late when I read this. But I'm still feeling a bit of an idiot!!

As for the analogy, I'm hoping that it's more like a Cosworth at the very least.... Hopefully getting a tune up on Saturday, rather than needing a tune up on Sunday!

Just, please, don't brake any of our strikers!!

Meh, between Samba and Holt? I'm going to say that'd be the like 2 mountains colliding.

    If Samba was fit.
