Stats are meaningless but, here, look at this edited YouTube video of his best moments. Isn't that the Dennis Wise philosophy? I agree with Chaos, for all his running he's not produced a great deal. He tailed off before injury last season and I saw him make more and more runs into dead ends or tackles. He looked knackered from the MLS though. I hope him and Joelinton hit it off but it's a risk starting the season with these two and Gayle/Muto as back up. Hope we get someone else in beforehand.
It's a well known fact that 63.8% of stats are completely made up, I keep saying this! Joel-Miron will be a hit you just watch this space, I'm right !
That was also his initial 6 months which is a settling in period historically. He also played in an unfamiliar position on the wing. Transfer that running ability to using it in better areas behind a striker, I'm excited by his potential. Both him and Joelinton need to prove themselves here like any new player regardless of their history. We've had top players from elsewhere sign, and they just haven't done it here. I think Joe and Al are as an exciting a partnership that we've had in recent years. People were pretty unenthusiastic about Rondon and Perez last summer. I think these two are better and will quickly win the fans over.
Don't get me wrong I wasn't enamoured with Rondon, surprised me in the end. The new partnership sounds promising but there's little to go off yet. Almiron can definitely take players on and get things moving but If we don't sign maxim or someone in the wing position, Almiron will likely play there again. My bigger worry is if Almiron is still having trouble in front of goal it reduces the use of Joelinton, who doesn't have history of being an out and out striker.
I heard that it was 87.88%... P.S read to the end before posting, read to the end before posting, read to the end before...
