Hibs doing their bit ...

Derry losing toTrabsonpor wan nil. ****ty goal.

I went to near enough every game last season. Just canny be bothered this year.

Trabzonspor players thought the Brandywell was Derry's training ground as it is right alongside Celtic Park.....poor bastards.

Aggregate score replaces the previous record aggregate defeat for a Scottish club in Europe.

Previous record was set in 1960 when the now liquidated and defunct rangers were beaten 12-4 by Eintracht Frankfurt, whose striker was called Stein.
A name which 7 years later would ensure that rfc would eventually self destruct in pursuit of the EC won by the LL.

Fortunately St J will help the coefficient a little.

Wee reminder we play a Swedish side next week , we've never gone and won 7- 0 at Easter Road . Be interesting to see how they get on against an epl team Swansea in the next round

Aye, it's embarrassing right enough.

Good result for St Johnstone though. Considering Rosenberg are already 16 matches into their season and top of the table it makes it even more impressive.

Aye, shame they've got to go to Minsk for the next game, that's a difficult draw.

A totally fair point.

I'm not focusing on the Hibs result - they blow hot and cold at the best of times under Fenlon - I thought knockout format would suit them.

What a result for St Johnstone, but <ok>

Knocking out Rosenburg and beating them in Trondheim - ****ing magic.

**** St Johnstone.

Saints fans are about as loyal as a rattling smack addict.

<laugh>

I went to a Scottish Cup final a few years ago against them with a couple of pals who are Saints fans. Hadn't been to a game in years but were happy enough to get a day out at Hampden.
