I'm coming round to that way of thinking that to forget this season is the best course of action. Because unless it can start in May, which is highly unlikely, the problems of trying to then get it finished are too many IMO.
Fair points. Allow for a curtailed transfer window (couple of weeks) with pay by their new club if a deal is finalised. Without them playing, which could impact the final league standings of course. 9-10 games could be played over a 2 week period. If there's a pre-contract agreement, the "selling club" are already resigned to that fact and should be able to sort that out with an "extra-ordinary" transfer window set up. Cancelling/nullifying the current season is seriously unfair (damaging in both directions) to the teams effected. Leeds United ? ****, it'd be worse than the Civil War ! I'm not even going to mention the Scousers
