Now we have a shwan and Purley's tedious argument thread, I think we also need a Ruff and sweats' equally tedious golf thread <ok>

I did say last week that golf chat should be reserved for the SG thread but he asked a question re golf on this thread hence the derail

Derail?

Of what, a bunch of self satisfied kids who think they're funny saying "hi"?

Who cares a ****, it was hardly a thread of any interest anyway. Shwan and Purley on the other hand used all the the other threads to continue droning on about FFP.

I don't care where we discuss golf to be honest so just let me know and we can do it wherever.

You around next week for golf? I really want to go back to that South herefordshire course.

Played just about to my handicap yesterday. Only got through 9 as the weather turned bad.. I scored 15 points which in wind and rain on a well know tough course i was happy with.

Yeah, meant to be staying up Tuesday to Thursday so I think Wednesday is best bet again.

Going back to last night (if this superb thread isn't derailed too much by this) the courses you mention I would rank like this;

Quality;

1, Pennard
2, Clyne
3, Fairwood
4, Gower

Difficulty;

1, Pennard
2, Fairwood
3, Clyne
4, Gower.

Gower is worst of the bunch, comfortably. I dislike Fairwood but that's just personal really. Clyne and Pennard are both excellent but Pennard really is not for the faint hearted to be honest.
