I think he is wrong in what he is saying but I do not lose respect for him, I believe he will only leave if the job is right, don't get me wrong, I don't agree with what he has got to say but I understand what he is saying.
It's not so much the position of director of football. That role is ok if it's someone with a successfull management career behind them. As hessy lacks this it will certainly limit the choice of manager who would be willing to work under him One positive could be that if the new guy has tactical noise and can organise then we could have a good combination team. This would effectively be the help we were crying out for. However I feel a clean break would have been better with scally putting out all the stops to get the right man with is own team
