I'm hearing that we're in for a Finnish defender called Hesakmi. Rumours on Twitter have been backed by a few posts on the usual blogs etc. This seems to have gathered pace on the popular NUFC forums and whatnot so I thought I'd check on here.

Anybody got more info on the lad? He's supposed to be a wonderkid right?

Good find.

From what I've heard he's actually pretty good. Just because he is unknown doesn't mean he isn't great, this may be our Jones/Smalling.
 
Not heard much about him, here is his wiki page. But all the reliable journalists seem to think there is something in it. Contract is meant to run out in the summer as well.
 
This guy's really unkwown, our scouting network is obviously very thorough. In Carr we trust!
 
Pardew will play Perch ahead of him until Sunderland get ahead of us .
