Cisse! But I agree Hughes should have brought in another striker when he sold or let go the other alternatives we had. I'm not so comvinced it needs to be a typical target man like Zamora, HH or Hulse, but someone who can run into space and finish (with advantage use his head as well) may have been a better option especially now we seem to playing more on the ground than the long ball. For me Cisse in form is the Man, and a Cisse Mark 2 on the Bench would have been ideal.
If only we had a reliable target man who could score a goal every other game, its not as if wed let one go....
Isn't that disrespecting a mule? "What's the difference between mules, donkeys, burros, and jackasses? Dear Leanne: To answer your questions, we chose to do simple searches on the terms, one by one, in the order that you submitted them. First, we looked for mules. The results led us to the Mules category in Yahoo!. Once there, we found exactly what we wanted: Mule Barn, the World Wide Gathering of Mules and Donkeys. Some of the site's links looked very promising: "About Mules" and "About Donkeys." At very least, we thought, we would be killing two hoofed mammals with one stone. However, we eventually learned that Mule Barn could provide us with all of the answers. Here are the definitions according to the Mule Barn: Mule: A domesticated, hybrid animal that results from crossing a mare (female horse) and a jack (male donkey). Donkey: A domesticated ass. Which, of course, begs the question "What is an ass?" Thankfully, Mule Barn also provides a definition of this particular animal. Ass: A four-footed, hoofed mammal related to the horse, but smaller, with longer ears and a shorter mane, shorter hair on the tail, and a dark stripe along the back. So, it seems the aforementioned jackass is simply a male ass. The main difference between the jackass and the donkey is their domestication -- the ass is wild; the donkey is domesticated. But what about the burro? Turns out that the burro is a small donkey that is often used as a pack animal because it is particularly sure-footed."
All very harsh. Top lad, wrong club at the wrong time. I could list plenty of wasted talent expended during the 'wilderness' years. Where for instance is Di Carmine now??
If Hulse can maintain his fitness level, he can likely be a useful Championship or League 1 journeyman.
