He has no intention of haggling with anyone. If he ends up being undermined by a small group of fxxkwits he will do something else with his money. I wouldn't blame him for that.
"Fans are an irrelevance to him" What are fans to him? CUSTOMERS. You've never heard the likes of Tesco, Amazon etc announce they care not about their customers feelings/comments.
I know this may be off topic and apologies for doing so, but I have to voice my appreciation for your signature. I find it describes the situation perfectly. If I was one for plagiarism, i'd copy that and use it for myself.
Melton, one day it may still happen. He hasn't gone back on it you understand. He just hasn't gone forward with it. But I'm sure he will one day, because he said so himself. Fibs and untruths, spin and PR. All part of the game these days.
Vito would probably pull the trigger?, Vito is a fictional character. You would have to believe in the character to believe he would do that. The fact that you referenced him in your post leads me think you believe that is how it is at the club. Or do you just think they look slightly similar?
You seem to be misunderstanding the clubs financial position (you are not alone). We can come back to that further down the line. The day we are spending a few bob on some players as an investment to try and maintain our premier league revenue streams is probably not the best time. It is a debate worth having though.
Agreed! Today has made me very sad about how much anger is being hurled around because of this business.
If he has played it wrong from beginning to end, I am prepared to forgive him. If the council got it right as well albeit for the wrong reasons. I forgive them as well. There is no getting away from the fact that Mr Allam made a massive dickhead of himself over the stadium situation but that is now water under the bridge. We move on. Look forward not back.
