I'm not happy about this.

Village Bike was someone's sock account, and I can guess who's it was. Banning the sock isn't going to root out the cancer that is eating out the heart of this forum, the user behind it needs to be banned.

I don't like calling for bans, as all of you will know, and it is with a very heavy heart that I ask for one now. But someone has crossed a line, and harsh lessons need to be taught and learned.

If brb cannot use his legendary detective powers to hunt down the culprit, might I suggest that he simply delete the entire IP (or whatever it is) address from the site? I reckon that will drag with it the piece of scum behind The Village Bike.

This site doesn't need flotsam like that.

As I say, I'm usually the first to argue against bans, but sometimes anything short simply isn't enough.

Pointed out that Skiddy's claims of how he tracked down HIAG don't make any sense.
He says that he did it by using details about gigs posted on here. That was Sky and he was making them up. They didn't exist.

Does anyone know if Skiddy is (or was) The Village Bike?

That’s quite personal. Maybe he has an addiction.

I'm not interested in that.

I am interested only in the person behind the sock being banned.

A line has been crossed. Most of us agree on that. A harsh lesson needs to be taught.

I'm not saying that the person should be banned forever, but it has to be a long ban, and people need to know that, so that the lesson filters down to other idiots who might be tempted into behaving in the same fashion.

Now what kind of knob would have a sock account?

Do you think people who use sock accounts to WUM should be banned?

Are you advocating long bans for anyone that has or has had a sock account?

Coming from you <laugh>

So let’s get this straight. You think that the person behind a sock who divulges the content of PM’s should be banned ?
