http://www.charlton.vitalfootball.co.uk/article.asp?a=501497 so I'm just pretending I care am I grumpy?..yes along with 8,000 to 10,000 who are pretending... this is what I'm just saying Grumpy.... duck off!
That groveling apologist will say anything for a bit of attention. His wind-up comments aren't even worthy of your annoyance AHLL. Charlton fans will come back when Duchatelet and his bizarre Circus has left town for good - not when one of his clowns blows a raspberry at them.
Nine league games? The prick likes to flower up a stat. Ffs he's now carrying games over from last season!
Let's take a closer look at those nine league games; Home Southend United 2-1 win (8th April) ... Southend finished 7th. This was the result which made Charlton mathematically safe from relegation. Gilligham 3-0 win (17th April) ... Gillingham finished 20th. Swindon Town 3-0 win (30th April) ... Swindon finished 22nd (relegated) Bristol Rovers 1-0 win (5th August) ... Bristol Rovers are currently 11th. Northampton Town 4-1 win (19th August ... Northampton are currently 24th. Away Coventry City 1-1 draw (14th April) ... Coventry City finished 23rd (relegated) Chesterfield 1-2 win (22nd April) ... Chesterfield finished 24th (relegated) Plymouth Argyle 2-0 defeat (12th August) ... Plymouth are currently 18th. Rotherham United 0-2 win (26th August) ... Rotherham are currently 19th. So from our last 9 matches Charlton have one win against a team who might be considered potential promotion rivals (Southend United), back on April 8th. 5 of the other 8 matches have been against sides which were either relegated to League 2 last season, or promoted from it this season. It is good to be on a run of decent form, and I grant that Charlton can only play the team that is in front of them. But so far, since 8th April last season we have played none of our serious promotion rivals; Peterborough United Wigan Athletic Bradford City Blackburn Rovers Fleetwood Town Scunthorpe United Oxford United Charlton are untested against any of these teams since our much celebrated (nearly) unbeaten run of nine games began. So far, nothing has gone wrong this season. Nothing has happened that will test the character of our first team, its coaches and its manager. When problems do begin (and they will), then the true test also begins.
This shows exactly what the problem is. Win a couple of games and all in the garden is rosy. Never mind that we're a L1 club deeper in debt, excited about the possibility of getting in the play-offs.
Colin has also claimed that Robinson deliberately talks bollox in order to wind up certain members of Charlton Life
Funny how the moron slates Charlton Life when he used to post about 50 times daily........until he got banned!
http://www.charlton.vitalfootball.co.uk/article.asp?a=504300 The first person EVER to accuse Elf of having 'pride'
I have my pride and self respect, but that goes flying out of the window when I post on here.........
