http://www.charlton.vitalfootball.co.uk/article.asp?a=499272 Well Mr Tucker..... why do you think the Belgian's have changed their business plan for Charlton?..... their old plan, I think we can agree, was a disaster wasn't it?..... let me give you a clue .... season ticket sales massively down, match day revenue massively down, redundancy payments to inappropriate staff massively up.... traditional supporters telling them things MUST change! ..... Supporters Groups telling them things MUST change.... media telling them that things MUST change. The 'Regime' (to be rid of a troublesome outpost) have been forced fighting and screaming to change their plan for Charlton... why?... so it can be sold (some time in the future) to end this nightmaire for them. So who has egg on their faces?..... well the Belgians ..... together with a large hole in the Douche's bank account! You are still an ar5e Tucker!! Use your brain man and stop filling the internet with this trite garbage please.
He's barely a second rate WUM. As you say, season ticket sales in the basement - even though they are virtually being given away. Staff turnover at levels that would put a drive-through fast food joint to shame. A League One Club that nobody takes seriously anymore, and whose stadium is now so empty on match days that entire blocks of seats are being closed in order to squeeze the remaining fans closer together supposedly to "improve the atmosphere". A ball has not been kicked yet, and this sad bloke is following the example of the owners he admires so much by joyfully slagging off life-long Charlton supporters because they refuse to roll over and accept that their once proud Club is now a place where the restaurants, bars and corporate hospitality facilities matter more than the football; something Duchatelet makes no secret of.
Now he's quoting Martin Luther King.... http://www.charlton.vitalfootball.co.uk/article.asp?a=500144 Sorry Mr Tucker, but MLK was actually on the side of the oppressed, not the oppressor. A basic detail but an important one I think.
Tucker is fast turning into the dumb man's Paul May.... except all of Tucker's drivel seems to be fuelled by 'White Lightning'
Another response to Tucker's latest ramblings; http://drinkingduringthegame.blogspot.co.uk/2017/08/what-load-of-rubbish.html Sums it up nicely in my view, particularly the last two paragraphs.
A very good article, chimes exactly with my own view. The thing about the Tucker articles is that his aim is to attack the protests ad nauseam, and he creates alternative facts to support his twisted logic. He must be a WUM, surely.
An argument can be made that some aspects of the protests have not made a bad situation any better. But what people like Tucker love to do is wave away the the long succession of terrible decisions and the continuous disrespect inflicted on the Club and its fans by Duchatelet and Meire with glib, throwaway sentences like "of course mistakes were made" -- then go on at great length to lay the entire blame for our current sorry situation on protesting supporters. As well as passing sanctimonious judgment that protesters are not Charlton fans at all, because they won't accept the Club they love being treated the way that Duchatelet has treated Charlton Athletic.
REams is pretty sure that "Tucker" has been posting on CL for years as Grumpy Addick, who is anti-Roland.
Tucker has to be a WUM then (assuming Reams is right). I have never read anything posted by 'Grumpy Addick' but there are no indications that what Tucker posts on Vital Charlton is tongue-in-cheek. Most of it is feeble crap in my view, but not intentional parody as far as I can tell. Anybody who posts entirely conflicting opinions on different platforms without either persona apparently being a parody is a WUM. Neither viewpoint that they present can be trusted as honest opinion or given any credence.
Personally I think Reams is wrong this Tucker character seems reminiscent is style to A2C, except with correct spelling..... blindly approving of anything CAFC do and putting blame of any mishaps on his perceived enemies or even Sheffield firemen!
