He's been treated like **** by United ever since he signed for the club. Gutted to lose him, especially on a free, but I don't blame the lad for finally giving up on the club. Woodwood is a ****ing plague on United.

Well hopefully the lack of manager uncertainty can yet turn his decision around but yes, agree with that. Solskjaer being made permanent seems to have made no difference. Not that it would, it's Woodward who ultimately holds the purse strings.

He's not a big enough name and he works too hard, money should only be thrown at lazy ****ing ****s like Pogba and Sanchez.

Gutted if he goes, it's as simple as that.

Genuinely thought our midfield was ok and we could focus on the defence. But for far too long bringing any balance to the squad has been like spinning plates.

Rumour that United will be looking to get Adrien Rabiot in return to replace him.

Why are we getting rid of him though?

I have absolutely no idea. My only guess is that he's over 28 and the money he wants and length of contract goes against our red lines?

It's fcking stupid of course considering where we are and how much we need him to get to the next level. I've always been critical of Woodward, he's always caused the club to go in the wrong direction.

He's the only one in our current squad that is mobile enough to make things difficult for Messi, Every other midfielder is either too inexperienced or too static.

The won't sign a new contract injury?

    A classic case of!!

Cue McTominey having his arse handed to him by a certain Mr Messi.

I have a feeling Pogba will step up tomorrow....

... for about 30 mins and then when the game runs away from us he'll mope around, but I'm hoping he actually makes something happen in that first 30 mins so that doesn't happen.

On their current form I fear that Barca are going to rip us apart - Pique was interviewed the other morning and he was saying that the plan is to leave us demoralised going into the second leg - on the other hand, every team can be beaten otherwise we might as well just hand Barca every team trophy going at the start of each season and stay home.

Yeh I read that. I hate cocky ****s before a game, even if our players do it. Hopefully they'll trip over their own over-confidence.

    Confirmed, Herrera going.

I ****ing hate Woodwood. He’s a **** and a cancer on the club.

True warrior, should have been captain. Sad to see him go, but wish him well.

A limited player whose greatest attribute is that he has a nasty streak and can kick a few opposition players. Is this what Utd has become?
