Classic Van Gaal sabotaging the team. Leave Rooney up top please. Don't play your 2nd best playmaker (who and Mata work really well) and with Herrera who can get up and down as well. With mophead back don't expect Herrera to play again. The classic 2 subs will be Carrick/Schweiny switch and another for mophead to come on.
U do realize we still have fellaini which LVG still prefers to Herrera. Trust me if fellaini wasn't suspended he would have come in against Newcastle, maybe could have chipped in a goal too. Fellaini is a good player himself in his own way, his only problem he he can't pass but he seem to get the goals when needed. Herrera on the other hand is a much better all round player. But the way it is right now, fellaini has a better chance of playing behind the striker than Herrera in van gaal's book. And van gaal prefers to play with 2 of Carrick , schneiderlin and schweisterger in central midfield , nothing bad in that. I think Herrera will find it difficult to get games this season unless in the event of an injury.
