A post script to my earlier heroes list;
Alec Eisentrager. German, former POW who signed for us in 1948 just three years after the end of a really brutal war between our two countries.
He gave City 11 years of great service.
But above all a great man and to the best of my knowledge and memory, I never heard one word against him other than like we all do sometimes, moan about a bad pass or missed goal chance.
Danke schoen Alois.
 
Hero's - Jackie, Shaun Taylor, Tinman, Mickey Bell, Louis, GJ, Marv, LJ (sorry but I thought the little fella could play), Murray, Lansdown

Zero's - Coppell (no balls), Thorpe (left us "to further his career" at a team in a lower division), Hunt, Dinning, Marcus Stewart (massive anti-climax)
