It is difficult for you. Your initial posting is a sound one talking about jingoism and that is the very first thing you are met with as a response. I can understand that people don't like to hear a criticism of any sort. You aren't ever going to get them to agree with you but you are doing well to get them to at least explore an uncomfortable topic. People are all to ready to accept a received wisdom on a topic and attack anything that challenges that. I genuinely don't know if people don't understand you, or if they deliberately don't want to (that doesn't apply to everyone).

I'm aware there is a minority of soldiers who are breaking the 'rules of engagement' but your entire viewpoint is much more sinister. There is absolutely NO evidence to suggest that the soldiers who have been killed in action have been guilty of any wrong-doing. You simply hate the British. Not just the British army but everything about our Nation. Please try and deny it... It would make interesting reading for anyone interested enough to go through your previous poisoned prose.
In my opinion they deliberately dont want to. This (again IMO) is down to 3 things - bravado due to lack of knowledge. Its obvious some read and repeat what others say.
