Hernandez and two midfielders. Though hopefully there'd another striker that we don't know about yet.
i can see 1-2 surprise going outs tomorrow, i think diame would be a great signing, no idea if theres anything in it
We have the permit it's the visa we are waiting for. If they have given him a work permit I would not of thought the visa will be a problem? Then again we are talking about British immigration policy here.
Precisely, the government will be doing everything possible to make sure he enters the country and never leaves.
He has the work permit therefore the 'visa' is a formality. The visa is simply the Entry Clearance that confers leave to enter and sets out the conditions of his entry and what he can and can't do in the UK. His will state 'football - to play for Hull City AFC' or whatever we've called ourselves this week, it will also specify how long he can remain in the UK (this won't be the length of his contract). Also any dependants will need to apply for an Entry Clearance. Should he leave and sign for another UK club in January he'll have to go through all of this again as his current WP and EC only allow for employment with us. I'm surprised they haven't pulled some strings and got the EC placed in the passport while he was here on his Cat C visa either in Sheffield or Croydon.....guess he's got **** to sort before he moves?
How come they don't need a new work permit upon a contract renewal? I remember we wanted to sign Guzan but couldn't because he wouldn't get a work permit after not playing in the national team, but then he went and signed a new contract with Villa? What's that about?
Slightly worrying quote from Bruce? 'We expect the Hernandez deal to be completed before Monday's deadline,' said Bruce. 'We are just awaiting his signature. The work permit is already in.' ...
Extending a contract results in an extension of an extant WP which is already in place, not a new WP, slightly different set of rules and criteria to meet for player and club. **** panic buying; now Eyre isn't washing the jock straps bung him up top.
At least we should be in the news on the last of the window for once! I am a little concerned that our exit from europe is affecting this a little. The timing was a little unfortunate.
wtf Macca, who nicked his pot noodle? Edit:- this is the Google translation that goes with the photo Missed filing some detail loss, now the agreement was finalized. Abel Hernandez is a new Hull City player. The Palermo striker moved to outright for ⬠12 million and signed a four-year contract. In the photo all'Hull Hernandez in the City after the signing.
