Does anybody know when Charlie Barker joined CAFC?
I'll be listing him in the 'Player Profiles' section of my 2020-21 stats page, but understandably there's little backbround information on him at present.
The other thing (if anybody knows) the town where he was born?
I know his Dad Richie came from Sheffield originally, but I assume the family is based down South now?

The next 250 go back 45 years to 1931.

I agree with that to a degree.
But think the most recent 250 is more to do with how badly the club has been run.
More than 100 debuts for Roland in 6 years
175 new players in the last 10 seasons including this current one is a crazy number. However when you have idiot owners with loads of different managers and no stability, it’s no surprise
We are the same so will be awaiting further information hopefully from the club website or a handbook soon
Not to take away merit from RD as a useless owner but I imagine changing the level you play at probably means changing the squad around a lot. Loan players are becoming ever more involved too, as the Prem clubs hoover up all the talent and then have to loan players back out again.
I'm not completely certain of this, but by August 2018 the only player in the Charlton squad who began playing for us before Duchatelet took over was Chris Solly.
That's everybody bar one gone - in four and a half seasons.
And I think everybody except Solly and Johnnie Jackson was gone by the summer of 2016.
Just two and a half seasons after RD bought the Club.
Our player turnover under Duchatelet was an embarrassment.
Like our head coach turnover.
Now that Naby Sarr is gone, Jason Pearce is our longest serving outfield player.
Dillon Phillips' first season at Charlton was 2013-14, but he did not actually play for us until 2016-17 (the same season Pearce joined us).

Perhaps if our new era sees more success on the pitch we won't need to get anywhere near the big 1,000 for many years to come.
Chris Solly's number is under 700 I think, which illustrates the shocking turnover of players we've suffered in the past decade or so.
