Can we pack the spelling thing in? Good story from the op....now let others enjoy it, and have their say, and not get bogged down in post after post on spelling, as at the end of the day, who cares?
Hi Monty....Its funny the things you remember ....as I said I seemed to talk with Martin for ages .I was playing in the NE at the time and I said I used to train on my own trying to work on my speed. I remember him saying words to the effect thats all that Duncan McKenzie had (and did) It stuck in my mind....because ,of course , Martin wasnt the fastest. Doesnt it sound like the kind of thing Cloughie would say to get you to work on that extra yard of pace?....Looking back I think it was well and truly under his skin....
