It's unbelievable - on their board quite a few are "seeing Tan's point of view" Nobody has yet explained to me how they can defend appointing a 23 year old painter as head of recruitment or making spats with the Manager public. How can they defend either? I'm getting the usual responses threatening a ban. [EDIT: I've now had a response pointing out he wasn't a painter. I'm afraid they just don't get it.]
Tan is right to express discontent if he felt that we overspent. But who is he pointing the finger at...who signed the cheques???? Is this legend of a businessman letting somebody walk around splashing cash he doesn't know about. The problem we will always have with this guy is that he has to be the Number 1...end of story. Mackay is too popular so **** him off. Tan = do it my way or the highway. So it will have to be some kissass like an Alan Shearer or anybody desperate for a job who takes over. Sacking Mackay will equal relegation. At this point, I don't give a ****. I would rather be in League 2 than put up with this. As for you and your ban KJ, that is only because you are a ****er.
Yet isn't it funny that you agree with me? Won't sleep tonight worrying what Cardiff fans think of one the guys who's been warning them about Tan from the get-go. Your phrase "Tan = do it my way or the highway." is exactly the one I used after his TV interview but when I said this on your board I was threatened with a ban. Hate to say I told you so but **** it - I told you so. "Tan is right to express discontent if he felt that we overspent." Agreed - but PRIVATELY. He's hung Malky out to dry by making his discontent very public. Furthermore you won't get Shearer because he's recently said he wants to stay in media and contrary to your belief he doesn't strike me as 'desperate' or a 'yes man'. I'd rather you be in League 2 as well so again we agree and when Tan calls in the loans you'll be lucky to get that. See, not much to argue about at all.
Tan has flown in today but is undecided on whether to sack him before or after the Liverpool game. How embarrassing for Mackay walking out at Anfield knowing you're already dead no matter what happens. A thoroughy decent man who has been dumped on from a great height very publicly. Tan is a ****. End of. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/25464611
And therein lies your problem. Even when someone shares some sentiment with your opinion and even makes a bit of a joke at the end, your inability to talk any sense about Cardiff comes through. Hence, your ban. After you last response, you have confirmed what all on our board and many of yours already know about you. Enjoy your time to shine.
I assumed that calling someone a ****er was an insult. Maybe not where you come from. Sticking a smiley on as an afterthought doesn't cut it. I have tried talking sense on your poxy board and have raised many concerns about your lovely owner in the past but every time I have done so I have either been threatened with a ban or actually banned. As PGF says, some don't like facts over there. What has transpired now was foreseeable after it emerged that Tan was sending messages to the dugout. I said so at the time but was abused by virtually everyone over there. So you know what? I will enjoy our time to shine thanks. We moan a fair bit over here about our team here - that's part of being a supporter - but looking down the M4 makes most of us breathe a massive sigh of relief that we have Huw Jenkins. Either that or we just laugh.
No problems. I am sure the incredible amount of posts on the "poxy" board were just a mistake. Actually, I remember you did post a thread on the "poxy" board because you thought it was your own....classic.
The best scenario is not for malky to resign but to stick it out and get the fans to force tan out and form a consortium and reverse everything that tan has changed, revert back to Blue get rid of the dragon and that stupid malaysian logo and send tan packing, They will be surprised how much the city will come together at the end of the day. How can they force tan out i hear you say.? Thats simple just boycott one home game and he will soon get the message and if he don't then boycott the next game, He will never stand for that as it will be costing him a fortune and he will be off like a shot. The club will survive and yes it will be hard but at least the club will be back in the cities hands and still in the premiership and if it is well organized then they will go from strength to strength....
Cardiff are up a creek without a paddle here. It's a genuine lose-lose situation. I expect this will happen, in chronological order: MM get's fired before, after, or (during!) the Liverpool game Cardiff fans rebel against the Red Peril (Tan) Tan throws his toys out of the pram and walks out of the club Eek, the club is now 100M in debt and who to...? After that, who knows. Remember, Tan was the man with a plan to save Cardiff city. They are completely dependent on his money, hence the amount of bending over backwards required in Cardiff. If and when he goes, that's when their troubles will really start. Gotta be honest, it couldn't happen to a more fitting club.
Can see where you're coming from campioni but I'm not so sure. When I suggested a rebellion through fan power over there I was ridiculed and abused by some, though I did notice that a few were contemplating a boycott (most disagreed with that). I think that they are so desperate to maintain Prem status that they really don't give a flying **** about the Manager that got them there. Views like Temple's above appear to be very much in the minority, sad to say. Not the part about me being a ****er I hasten to add.
They are guaranteed £60 million this season + millions they can generate during the season and a good lawyer will refute that 100 million as his spend on rebranding and all the other weird things he has done since he has been there. It was his choice to make the deals concerning any debt and he cannot reverse that or say to cardiff that he wants it back now as he is off...they would laugh him out of court...He will get something but nowhere near the £100 million he first put in...
Never thought I'd see dai take on tan when it comes to making money and corporate law ... You know nothing of the deal dai, nobody does that's what is so interesting about vinny, as of yet we are still to know his true motives .
