well, if we get promoted then next season we'll have a few games on the "evil Murdoch empire" and without going on a ten thousand word dissertation about the evilness of Mr Murdoch and the "qualities" of his journalists and editors (I give you Kelvin MacKenzie who lied about Hillsborough and then when Chris Bryant tackled him on The Daily Politics he then tried to lie his way out of where he got his infomation). And don't get me started on those celebrities who were victims of phone hacking etc by News International and then take the Murdoch pound to appear in shows on Sky TV.
Have you seen the state of the local birds though? Worked there for 6 months last year and never saw a decent one in all that time.
I work in Barnsley and the majority of your comments are fair. It's rough around the edges but on many nights out I've rarely felt threatened and never seen much bother. Beer is very cheap, place called Chennells does Fosters/Carling for £1.25 a pint. The ladies (literally a loose term) are brassy, tarty, pretty average in quality but the previously used word 'accommodating' is correct to an extent I've never come across before. They sign on hard and they play hard!
The Barnsley game was never going to be moved from a 3pm ko. Its been set in stone for weeks now. Sadly for Barnsley, IMO the game may not mean much by the 27th April. But if it does then a saturday 3pm ko is best for both sets of fans. Fooook SKY, they had there victory with the Udders game.
Actually John I am hoping that its party time after the Brizzle home game on the 19th April. We can then enjoy the last 2 games with little or no pressure. Lol.
