The attributes of a captain shouldn’t even be up for discussion? But we find a few having to make a case for MH! It should stand out to everyone why he’s captain and if it doesn’t then he ain’t one! There’s a pattern with our captains Ashby, barmby, Dawson etc.

In that case we might as well go get a traffic policeman to do his job. I can barely bring myself to read Adkins interviews now but I read the one in the HDM, the guy is deluded

Just like Junior Lewis, and just like Junior Lewis he is very good at being marked out of the game when we have the ball yet can find lots of space when we don't.

He goes missing, thats the key point.
 
I can't believe I'm sort of defending Adkins here but if he's keeping him as captain he has to back him

His mistake was making a big deal about making him captain , now taking it away from him would be a big deal
and a definite sign of no-confidence in a player who we actually need in the team and playing well

He actually brings up Morgan Schneiderlin in some weird comparison of their captaincy, Schneiderlin can actually play football though
