Is he now coming of age?
Have to say I have watched him the last few games for the Pool and been mightily impressed.
Only saw their highlights on MOTD tonight, I will watch the whole game another day on LiverpoolTV.
But he no longer looks intimidated by the likes of Gerrard and was the driving force for most of the Pool goals.
He also made Ricco look the mug he had become, thankfully Riccos mistakes are now costing Fulham not us. :p
 
I'm very pleased for him. The move the Liverpool has done him the world of good I think.

Who better to learn from than Gerrard?
 
He's important for us. Presses players for 90 mins. Is capable of some good through balls like today. Still young and can only improve. The £16m doesn't seem so bad now, considering Utd paid the same for Phil Jones.
 
Don't think Liverpool did him any favours in his first season and knocked his development back a year. They should have loaned him back to us that season and he would have continued to get games. Not surprised he's doing well, won't be surprised when he gets even better.
 
I was never ever his biggest fan and thought it was a good bit of business by Brucie. Hendo has deffo improved and is now looking a lot better. Pleased for him.

I think he did well for us. Pitty Bruce played him out wide so often. But that was Bruce all over wasn't it? Play em out of position.
