1720: More news of a player not going anywhere, for now anyway.
Sunderland boss Steve Bruce admits Black Cats midfielder Jordan Henderson could be on his way...but not for a few seasons yet. "All of the big managers all around the country have asked to be kept informed if we ever decide to sell," said Bruce. "There will come a time undoubtedly when he'll want to go and play in the Champions League and want to win Champions League trophies and further his England career. But I think, for the next couple of years at least, this is the place for him to learn his trade."

I like Henderson a lot and to be perfectly honest i'd expect him to be off sooner. Let's hope we are at the point in a few years where we can comfortably keep him.

too right matey, i like the guy personally, fate him highly on the wing, not so much in the middle, but hopefully in a couple of seasons of too we'll be pushing for europe or be in it

money and ambition will decide in the end and who can blame the lad at least he hasent come out spouted about getting away best of luck to the lad whatever he does

Lets talk £40m+ in this inflated silly marketplace. If Carroll is valued at £35m, then anything less for a lad with double the EPL appearances would be a give away.

Any takers at that and I'll drive the taxi to Old Trafford myself.
