How do the Gashead community

sorry to bother you all, posted the same question to my "facebook" friends but got less responses than a Dave Penney job application

I'm a bit of a music fan, but have no music stereo at home, so am looking to buy something

I'd say 90% of the music i have is on a passport, the rest is split between CD and cassette

My daughter has an iPod but personally hate them so that'd be a bonus

Can anyone recommend a stereo or mini system that sounds good and has CD Player, USB or MP3 input, Radio and maybe Cassette but not of paramount importance

would appreciate any feedback as not really up to speed with latest technology

Ta comrades

AKURA MUSIC CENTRE

I bought one recently for my vinyl....also plays CDs and Cassettes and has a computer link thingy!

Not outstanding sound reproduction but good enough.....computer link thingy should be fine.

Chris has an old grammaphone he plays all his gay rock music on while prancing around the room wearing his leathers and banging his head.

<whistle>

the 1902 edison standard phonograph is very good for cylinder records, such as get out and get under, stormy weather etc
