Off Topic Help needed with Sky TV Box

It's the same with Play Station not letting you play games from their old consoles, they want you to by their conversions so you're getting the game again, they don't give a **** that they haven't made all old games available and that you'll never get to play em again. Sky will be hopping you bought loads of them and need to buy em again. That gits.

I'f you're struggling to find any of the programs to download give me a shout mate I'll have a hunt too.

 

The only software i can find is called ExPVR, never heard of it or even tried it but guess i'll have to give it a go. Only issue is that i can't until i get my Sky Q all set up on Thursday.

 

Do you have a console?

Nah mate, got a MacBook and a Windows Laptop only.

Just to explain, i don't want to transfer the programs from my old Sky HD Box to the new Sky Q box, it's just that over the years i've collected a canny few decent music videos and programs that i would like to keep and maybe play back through a PC, or even stream to my TV if possible.

 

Lucky you, i just get jobs around the house to do.

 

Oh I know, Was just wondering if you had the hardware to stream it though your main TV wireless.

 

I can stream direct from my PC or my TV has a USB socket so i can also stream from a HD, it's just getting the info from the Sky box that's the tricky bit
