This is a ****ing joke, I have flights booked for this match but the only way I would have been able to go would be if I bought tickets for every game so far this season despite not being to afford to commute from Belfast for any of them until now.
There has been a lot of criticism about the Booking system, it seems we have a Premier Club with Southern League Ticket facilities, it seem NC is so busy chasing expensive signings he is neglecting other areas of the Club?
I feel more for the season ticket holders too, they should have first choice for tickets in my opinion. Absolutely ****ing raging, going to be in London for the day when the match is on.
A lot of people crying, when they haven't been to more games than those with the Arsenal tickets. I've been to more games than you this year NorthernIrishSaint and I'm not too bothered.
Why Last season, why not the L1 seasons or our last prem season or the '76 cup final season? Any date they choose was going to be arbitrary & it's only from this or last season that they've started asking walk-up customers for customer numbers (I didn't have an ST in L1 but never got asked for a number when I bought tickets) Perhaps you should have booked the flights after you secured a ticket? It was always going to be a high demand game, whenever we played it. It's not as bad as is made out - I used the online booking, it put me in a virtual queue then sent me to the booking site after about 20 mins. I had a bit of problem with it telling me that the ticket I was trying to buy was "locked" or something. I suspect someone in the ticket office was trying to book the seat at the same time as me. After trying four or five times it was added to my cart and I checked out fine. Yes, it was frustrating, but more because of the rush than anything the club could do fix it. I'm an ST holder, don't feel too bad for me - I think it'll be a fair system over the course of the whole season with those who go to every game (inc. ST holders) getting priority as the less glamorous games pass. It's only because we've got a bunch of "big" games together & at the start of the season that this is a problem. Even then, it's not really - it's just rewarding people who've been to the most games so far (inc. ST holders).
I was just trying to get them while they were affordable. Lesson learned I suppose :-/ Was going to the match for my birthday but I suppose London is nice too. ****ING HOOM NAW
Ah, well best to find a pub other saints fans are going to. There'll be a few around. If not from here, there may be people from Saints web.
Hey all thought you might like a little update of how the process went. I had a feeling there might be issues online so I got down to the stadium at 8:15 and by that point the queue stretched all the way along the Northam. At about half 10 I was glad I went down as we hear that online sales have ceased and that there were a few hundred left. I think these had been saved to accomodate the people who had been waiting long before sales opened. Most of us were told we wouldn't get anywhere but we stayed and a lot of people still joined the line. Soon enough we realised that the queue was moving so slowly because there were only 3 people at desk, what a ****ing joke! There were hundreds of people waiting. Some of these people were buying over 10 tickets at a time and so you thought they would run out soon enough. At about 1pm, so after 4 and a half hours of waiting, I finally got my 2 tickets. What a ****ing relief. The cut off was just after me and a hundred people who were still hanging around won't have been so lucky. I wouldn't have minded not getting tickets today, but the wait today was a ****ing disgrace. They should have known it would be that busy, get some more bloody staff in!
