Dear Lee, Thank you for the very open and moving post which puts other minor problems, niggles and irritations in context, and in the correct place.

It is great that you have had the courage to open up. I guess it was very difficult, but you DID IT! Well done!!!!

Now you need to keep up the conversations. I am sure that there are many great sources of help and advice. But most importantly, you are not alone. As they say, a problem shared is a problem halved.

Please stay positive and please continue to speak to your loved ones.

You have been through hell but have got out. Brilliant. But keep up the great work!

Sorry to hear about the dark place you have been Lee (and thanks Steels/Uber for the support and communication).
We have all hidden away at times and dealt with our demons. Whilst you have gone through a lot of suffering, I can’t help feel, in your words, how much you want to pull through everything. To us men talking can seem like the biggest, and almost impossible, pill to take; but eventually it seems to ease our pain, helplessness and ability to look forward and see some light (however small). Keep your loved ones in your heart and be good to yourself. No matter how hard it feels, we all want you to be back and strong. Thinking of you and all your loved ones. Stay strong Hoops brother.

I'm not sure what I can add beyond the supportive words of our QPR family.
Perhaps, try to find the small things that are truly worth appreciating in life (they are plentiful and simple in my experience) and remember that good people don't judge, just offer advice and that most folk are inherently good.

It's really good that you can be so open and honest
Blokes rarely talk about health and mental issues and it's normally too late for people to give any help
We had someone from work let people in his branch know three weeks ago he was struggling to cope with what life was throwing at him
Work was organising counselling for him but his wife found him the next day when she got home from the shops
Had he opened up earlier who knows

We need to learn to be more open to others with what's affecting us

Hi Flanman

Basically its because my surname begins with F and i've always called myself LeeF on the internet.

Plus i've always liked the norse name Leif and its also used after the Interpol song, 'Leif Erikson', who was an icelandic explorer that apparently set foot in north america before Columbus.

I'll take most of those meanings although bonny and pretty may be stretching it somewhat.
