Cheers all you are fantastic people! Mr Hat - it's an easy read even for you.

And the great news is it's now top of the league. Number 1 German Historical Fiction, Number 2 Historical Mystery, Number 2 Historical Thriller

Top of the league and Grimsby Town fan Alex Gerlis temporarily vanquished. It won't last though as his books have been roaring successes. He's sold 50k copies on Amazon

Got through the first few chapters, and I'm finding it a decent, well written read so far.

No the main but was done in eight weeks while off sick with a DVT. Not that sitting at a computer is good therapy for thrombosis ...

Up to 25th Kindle bestseller overall - number 1 bestseller in three genre lists. Many thanks all! But it's now up to full price again so will plummet

I'll wait until it gets made into a film and comes out on terrestrial TV.

I'm not made of bastard money.

<laugh> I have no idea why I posted this, apart from the fact I'd been on the whiskey after a night a public house. I suppose I must have found it amusing at the time, though only God knows why?

Terrestrial? Is that even a thing anymore? Now what you wanna do is clip your Kodi TV dongol into the Netflix Ipad Port and stream using the Panzer IV straight from Poland - done before tea time.

Only squares have a televisual box these days.

I've read that Kodi thread and now I need help.

I don't think sipping Dom Perignon 1954 whilst quaffing fois gras in a 5 star hotel equates to holding back commie hordes mate.

You RAF boys used to moan if you had to slum it in a 3 star whilst mugs like me kipped in frozen, water filled trenches in preparation for Ivan having a pop at the Northern flank.

I bet you never used your roll mat after basic training.

    Gaylord.

Oh right I see, that's how it is.

FYI I *did* use my roll mat after BT.

I used in an aerobics class I went to regularly.

Well when I say regularly, I went once, but I did use it.

After that, yeah, used it to line the dog's bed.

But anyhoo, we were the last line of defence technically. Sure, we'd load our airplanes up with bombs and stuff, then wave the brave aircrew off to go soften the Russkies up so it'd be easier for you (actually, most air crew I knew said they were gonna **** off to the Azores if 3rd WW happened, I'm sure they were kidding mind) on the ground.

When I say last line of defence, if it ever got to the stage I had to shoot anyone, we'd already lost.

No idea what the frig a 3 star is mind, is that like a B&B? I hadda stay in one of them once in N Germany. Had its own kegelbahn and bar mind so wasn't a total horror.
