What network were you using, and did refresh clear the problem and how many times did you have to refresh to get it back?
So I’m on virgin broadband, giffgaff sim when not on WiFi.

Happens in both instances.

Only 2 or 3 times to get into the site which is better than before.

How's it now and what network do you use?

For example I use Talktalk at home and giffgaff (O2) when out unless I can connect to wifi somewhere.
It’s overall better but still happens on iPhone occasionally. Have to say though it’s not as frequent.

Thanks for the update.

Unfortunately, the exact same issue is happening for me: WiFi is absolutely fine, data (4G on EE, Android) is absolutely pointless; I can never access this site on data alone. Same message pops up which I attached originally to the first post.

At least I can use WiFi, but it is odd.

Just to say, I've managed to get on the forum from data. Fingers crossed this has been sorted!
Cheers for the feedback, second bit of good news I've heard today. Had a guy who lives in Brazil and managed to get on the forum for the first time in the early hours today, so that was a relief.

Site owner has been listening and attempting to fix things.

Moving to Brazil is a bit drastic. If it can reach South America, it should be able to reach Teesside. Unless someone in Middlesbrough is blocking it!
 
@brb bump, still no good!

Is getting that bad I’m thinking of only checking site from my laptop. Mobile almost unusable.
I only use my laptop tbph, I don't like the phone set up. My mobile signal is ****e anyway, so pointless trying to use it from my home location, unlesss on wi-fi. I really don't like the format on my android.

I still have trouble with my laptop but it's always my VPN, as soon as I turn it off, the site stops hanging. I'd say a majority of what I see is VPN problems.

There was an EE user, they went to their local shop, and apparently all this time it wasn't the site, it was their settings that EE had to change, but don't know exactly what they did. I wonder if it had an age category in it.

The regular guy that couldn;t access the site from South America got in as soon as we lowered the cloud threshold, it's weighing up bots against humans, and we pissed off more humans than bots, hence why we changed it.

Sadly the technology is getting more advance but not more user friendly, which is not great when the average age of this forum is probably about 60.

I'm sure it will only get worse as the government apply more and more legislation.
 
Right, I cant access at all today via the mobile. I get what you are saying above, but this is for the site to sort out, not us as people visiting it. I have sent about 20 mins ****ing about trying to get it to refresh on my mobile.

It is really hard also to access via the laptop - I have just logged in to type this and struggling to even get this to work.

I usually view the site on my mobile, not a laptop.

Can someone send me a DM if ever this gets fixed so I can get an email to come back - I don't have anymore patience for this right now so logging out :emoticon-0148-yes:
